The site of the governors' feasts, Parramatta: Richard Green

Uncle Richard Green, at what is now Parramatta Town Hall, tells of the feasts the Governor held for the for all Sydney Aboriginal people and beyond. Guests included, on one occasion: Yarramundi, Nurragingy, Colebee, Black Kitty, Maria Locke, and children who went into the Parramatta Native Institute. Richard speaks of his optimism of the future for Aboriginal culture provided they stay with the values of old.
