West

The Western region, containing most of today’s Aboriginal Sydney population, includes Parramatta in the east, Katoomba in the west, the Georges River in the south, Riverstone in the north.

The key historic centres include the site of the Native Institution near Blacktown, and the Colebee Land Grant nearby.
