From Roper River to Sydney: Joyce Dukes

Auntie Joyce Dukes, interviewed at Mingaletta, came to Sydney in 1942 with many other children shipped from the Northern Territory. She lived at Mulgoa Children’s home. When Mulgoa was closed she escaped and returned to the NT to stay with her mother who had followed her to Sydney.
