Memories of the Gully: Carol Cooper

“It’s a very spiritual place.” Says Auntie Carol Cooper of the Gully, Katoomba, where she grew up with her mother and her extended family, including Auntie Jean and Grandmother, Eva. She recounts how her mother, Joan Cooper, met her father, how spirits visited at her grandmother’s house and the one that escorted her mother: “just looking after” her.
