On the outskirts of Singleton - the Redournberry town camp: Laurie Perry

Laurie Perry, CEO of Wonnarua Nation Aboriginal Corporation, standing on the site of Redournberry town camp, 2 km from Singleton, tells how many Aboriginal people, including his grandmother and great-grandmother, were sent to Redournberry by the Singleton council when the St Clair Mission closed in 1923. The Wonnarua people hope to have Redournberry gazetted and made an Aboriginal Place through the Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH).
