Redfern saved my life: Richard Green

Richard Green, Colebee's great, great grandson, came to Redfern as a teenager, homeless and looking for himself. It was the people there who became his teachers and saved his life. He went on to Eora College. His is so glad that young people today don’t have to go through what his generation did. His culture is “the most important thing in his skin”.
