The National Aboriginal and Islander School of Dramatic Arts is founded. Early members include Dorothea Randall, Wayne Nicholls, Sheryl Stone and Daryl Williams. Michael Lesley joins them in 1975-1976, in the Aboriginal Dance Theatre [or Black Theatre]. (Plater, p. 223)
