“Aborigines of the Port Stephens Area”. This set of seven photographs of unnamed Aboriginal men is captioned “Aborigines of the Port Stephens Area”. It is possible that the first two (men with ceremonial headdresses and body decorations) depict men who have been brought to the coast from inland Australia to participate in Federation celebrations (as is the case for 150th anniversary celebrations).
